This is the most current moment, where the work remains in the deep exploration of iridescent materials together with metaphysical concepts, delving into what was seen in the Dissolution series, leaving aside the dreamlike, psychological and melancholic aspects of other moments and old series.

With her gaze in peace, we are slightly shown what she has found in the depths of her very being. It is something indescribable in our current language, since forgetting these truths is what prevails today. She remembered it, because they transmitted the secret to her, the great mysteries, and she knew how to listen with the heart that today burns in flames, illuminates her and fills her with purpose.
I have used iridescent paint for the background and for the central lighting on the character's chest. In this way I obtain an almost three-dimensional effect due to the change in brightness and intensity of the color depending on the angle from which the work is observed. The only small impasto in the work is in the center of the light between the hands, the rest of the brushstrokes being thin and without exaggerated texture. Between one and three layers of paint have been carried out in total on the work, the last few of which have been glazes to adjust tone and saturation.
Lunar splendor

The essence of the lunar force arranged on the skin of the protagonist of the work and emanated from her gaze is what seeks to make the viewer question its influence on our lives, like a caress on a slightly colored skin covered with the sensuality of the lace of the night and its cautious emotion.
I have used iridescent oil paints in the background of the character. At times it is barely transparent, revealing the pink base of the underpainting, thus highlighting the pink tones of the skin. This iridescence of the background generates a change in brightness depending on the place from which the work is observed, added to the circular texture, an extremely hypnotic effect is obtained. The character is made in two layers of oil paint, partly thin and opaque, partly thin and transparent, and partly paste.
Solar splendor

Enveloped in firmness, security and confidence, the young woman shows us how the solar light that sustains everything, emanates from her own consciousness, which she keeps inside her heart, connecting it with the very existence of the being.
Normally my works arise first from an idea, and then I make the photographic reference that I will use in the work. This case is an exception. The model of the work, my model and friend Jamila, shared some old photos of her with me to use in my work, and when I saw the reference of this work I was stunned. I immediately contacted the photographer who did the session, who had no problem with me using the image in my work, and I continued on my way. This is the first work in medium or almost large format where I use iridescent paint. It is what makes the entire background shine in white, gold and green in a very particular way, with lightly textured brushstrokes in a circular direction around the model's face, reinforcing the hypnotic nature of her gaze. The rest of the work has been done in two thin layers of paint, using lead white to chromatically enrich all the tones and take advantage of greater light reflectance.
