Solve
Oil on canvas 100 x 85 cm
2025
Solve represents the moment of dissolution of the ego, letting it return to earth, to extract the essence of the being and finally conceive spiritual coagulation.
We could think of this work as the victorious resolution of the work V.I.T.R.I.O.L., where the initiated into the mysteries must face her worst demons to find herself. Well, here we see the remains of that encounter, an identity abandoned and devoid of initiative, given over to the very future of being.
Although the work does not present large loads of material, it is true that I took certain liberties when creating the background, giving it a soft impasto with a texture of an old wall that is about to fall apart, just like the reality of the protagonist.

V.I.T.R.I.O.L.
Oil on canvas 160 x 100 cm
2021
The work is inspired by the alchemical motto:
Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificandoque, Invenies Occulum Lapidem.
The neophyte seeks to delve into herself, to know her true essence. But for that she will have to face her own demons that will show her their darkest side.
The work was done on canvas prepared with gesso and sanded to achieve a super fine surface. It has between two and three thin layers of oil paint, without any texture, seeking a soft and uniform effect. Lead White has been used on the leathers to obtain a more chromatically enriched tone.

Eclipsed
Oil on canvas 50 x 50 cm
2024
The dilemma between what one wants and what one needs. Sometimes the line is blurred. Sometimes it's all one and the same, since it always resides within me. I wish we could transcend this dichotomy in joy, without suffering, but that wouldn't be our nature. The darkest days departed, leaving me with many lessons to learn. I hope this short work has been able to pose that subtle swing between what is urgent and what dark desire demands of you in a playful and cynical way.
This work has been the first step to get out of a moment of doubt regarding which path to follow, which is why the dilemma it presents. Here I tried to integrate some of my taste for Asian culture and my love for astrology. I made it on a canvas that I sanded and primed with gesso successively until I achieved a completely smooth surface. It has between one and two layers of oil paint, without fillings and with a satin finish.

Amapola Adormidera
Oil on canvas 100 x 160 cm
2025
I met a poppy. She was beautiful, energetic, and kind. It lulled me with its fragrance and I fell into a deep sleep. I knew that I was asleep, that what I was experiencing was not real, yet I decided to stay in the dream. Today I am awake, Amapola is not here, although sometimes I would like to take one of her naps again…
This painting has been done with a loose stroke but without textures, soft watercolor brushes have allowed me to achieve an integrated effect in the oil without fading the marks. It has between two and four layers of paint, the last ones being transparent to adjust saturation and generate atmosphere, depending on the sector. The skins have been made with lead white to achieve more chromatically enriched tones.

Alfonsina always
Oil on canvas 120 x 100 cm
2024
My grandmother decided a long time ago to end her story in the same way that Alfonsina did. This inspired me to pay tribute to her, also being a form of healing in my family lineage, leaving patterns of self-destruction and walking again with the head held high towards the right path, always with right intention.
The coast of Mar del Plata, the place of the aforementioned events and the place where I resided at the time of carrying out the work, has been used as a reference.
The work was done entirely in oil on canvas, several layers of paint, increasingly thicker but without texture, with final accents of small fillings. Having the same sea that I represented a few meters from my workshop was extremely useful for obtaining the appropriate colors.

Perseo & Medusa
Oil on canvas 100 x 80 cm
2021
In this free interpretation of the myth of Perseus & Medusa we seek to reflect on how we usually play with the fears that immobilize us. Sometimes we deceive ourselves into believing that it is a simple lustful game, but nothing could be further from the truth since we are blind and about to fall into deception.
This work was painted indirectly, seeking in the first layers a construction of the volume with a monochromatic grisaille and then adding several layers of transparent color. The effect achieved is a deep chiaroscuro rich in chromaticism. On the body of the female character, emphasis was placed on greenish tones since she plays Medusa. There is a small game between the location of the characters' moles and the stars that make up the constellation of Perseus, managing to match the Beta Persei star with the moles on Medusa's neck.
Uncomfortable truth
Oil on canvas 50 x 40 cm
2023
Absorbed by contemplating the sad reality that lies behind the broken window of her fragile illusion.
This work seeks to raise awareness about those truths that we know are there, but that we choose to ignore.
The edge of the window is made with enough impasto to generate the illusion of a real frame, inviting us to question what is beyond the known limit, what is true and real and what is not.
Anonymity

2020
In the first layers of paint of this work, a construction of the volume was sought with a monochromatic grisaille, then color was applied with successive transparent layers until the desired depth and chroma were achieved. The abrupt brush strokes accompany the model's gesture of desperation

Algol

Algol is the demon star in the constellation Perseus. According to astrology, whoever has the midheaven in conjunction with that star will be a murderer, and will be decapitated.

Yamila resting
Oil on canvas 115 x 90 cm
2022
This portrait seeks to rescue the memory of a dream, playing with the fading of the figure and the abrupt textures of the background and clothing in contrast with the softness of the face and hair, as if we were trying to distinguish between the real and the memory, the human and the constructed, sleep and wakefulness.
Nostalgia
Oil on canvas 20 x 20 cm
2025
This work is extremely personal. A small painting that at times seems unfinished, like a blurred memory. The fruit of a reunion that at the time carried great nostalgic weight due to the bond that had existed in the past. Trying to capture, with the gesture of a sketchy brushstroke, the warmth of a moment of complicity, longing for it to last more than I know it will.
